Mission Possible
ATAP Foundation was founded by two combat veterans, Dr. Carlos Worthy and Dr. Tiffani Worthy. Their children are active-duty Army and continued the legacy of service to the Nation. Their family has entered the Army in various ways and explored many options to include enlisting after high school, graduating from an ROTC program, graduating from the United States Military Academy Preparatory School, and graduating from the United States Military Academy. Each offered a rich experience, and they have collected compelling lessons learned over the years.
Team Worthy knows what it takes to prepare for a successful career in the armed forces and the intentional preparation that is required to succeed. ATAP Foundation launched Mission Possible in response to increased curiosity among students and families about how to enter the military and build a successful career. And, how to effectively make the military a first choice vs. a last resort.
Mission Possible will nurture students interested in serving in the armed forces. The program will embrace competencies that reinforce Leadership, Excellence, Academics, and Duty.
Initially, ATAP will establish connections primarily with cadets at the United States Military Academy and youth from Burlington County, New Jersey. As we grow the program, ATAP seeks relationships with ROTC and JROTC programs to continue to build a pipeline of talent into the Armed Forces. This relationship will give ATAP a path to build lasting connections with cadets, create community service opportunities, and nurture warriors from New Jersey.
Students will complete service projects in and around Burlington County, New Jersey, and Orange County, New York. They will visit the United States Military Academy, attend civic events throughout Burlington County, and participate in athletic events. All participants will be eligible to receive documented volunteer and community service hours.
This program is funded through a combination of grants, private donations, and program fees.
