Black History Month Awareness and Gala

Each week builds on one another and culminates in our Black History Month Gala on the last Friday of the month. We will recite poems, paint portraits, explore Black History. On Feb 28th we will dress up as people we have learned about in our Black History sessions. If you only want to join us for the gala you can register for it separately by clicking here.

EcoGarden Creations

Session 1: May 2nd, 2025

The students will learn the art of cultivating herb gardens (basil, mint, and parsley). They will also create terrariums and learn about the water cycle, plant adaptations to indoor environments, and the delicate balance of ecosystem dynamics.

Electronics Exploration

Juneteenth Awareness & End of School Year Celebration

Session 1: June 6th, 2025

Students will participate in activities to explore Juneteenth and to celebrate. Join us to watch videos about Juneteenth and then express their understanding and emotions through a piece of art, encouraging reflection and honoring African American culture and freedom.

Kwanzaa Awareness & Celebration

Session 2: December 20, 2024

Students will have the opportunity to explore Kwanzaa and immerse themselves in the sounds and rhythms of African heritage.
